Singing together since the day they met, Shane and Angela have performed all around the world and for millions on television. The Wiebes are now in partnership with Youth for Christ.
Shane & Angela Wiebe
Shane and Angela met during a choir tour in Germany 20 years ago. They married in December 2003, and in 2004 Shane climbed to a top five spot on the hit TV show Canadian Idol, where he had the privilege of working with both Lionel Richie and Gordon Lightfoot. Though they had been singing together since the day they met, in the past 15 years they have, won “Inspirational Album of the Year” three times at the Canadian Gospel Music Awards, sung for millions on television, and even found themselves on Canadian Radio Charts.
Originally from Abbotsford, BC, and now living in Stratford, Ontario, Shane and Angela with their two teenaged children. In 2018 Shane took a full time ministry position at YFC Youth Unlimited Stratford (to support Shane as a ministry partner click here).
On top of travelling throughout Canada numerous times, The Wiebes have had the privilege of touring in The United States, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Germany, and even the Caribbean. Most importantly, they’ve been able to share their music and love for Jesus wherever they go.
